Dingonatura is proud to be one of the few pet food companies in Spain which has been certified by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), the largest non-profit animal rights organisation in the world, with over 6.5 million members and supporters.
PETA was founded in the United States in 1980 and its main work is educating society and legislators on animal abuse, promoting fair treatment. Its central headquarters is in Norfolk, Virginia, although it has subsidiaries around the world (in Europe it operates as PETA UK, with headquarters in the United Kingdom).
PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the greatest number of animals suffer for prolonged periods: laboratories, food industry, clothing and fur trade, and entertainment.
In 2015, Dingonatura was certified by PETA global as a company which manufactures high quality food for dogs and cats without experimenting or supporting animal cruelty, a certification which it has maintained year after year until now. In 2018 it was certified by the European subsidiary, PETA UK, becoming the only Spanish company with this double certification.
