PASSION FOR ANIMALS. A passion for animals shared by a group of professionals (engineers, veterinary surgeons, breeders and nutritionists) was the spur for our creating a company like Dingo Natura, with the purpose of ensuring the health and wellbeing of pets through food.
Twenty-five years ago there were hardly any special pet foods on the market, and those that were were of poor quality and were more like farm animal feed than pet food. After searching at home and abroad for a commercially produced food able to meet the nutritional requirements of pets, we undertook a detailed analysis of its composition and nutrient content and found that it wasn't good enough for our faithful friend, and we decided that if we wanted a quality pet food we had to make it ourselves.
In 2001, a team made up of industrial engineers, vets, nutritionists and breeders, all enthusiastic to make a difference, set up DINGO NATURA. And so began a new way of understanding natural pet foods. We started by developing the Dingo range and from there, through innovation and seeking to improve our products, we created complementary quality ranges and foods for other animals.
Time and the trust our customers place in us have led us to produce foods for dogs, cats, parrots and ferrets and to develop a long list of new products for animals that filled gaps in the market where reliable products were lacking.
The firm is currently showing excellent growth, to the extent that we are now present all over the world: in Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Finland and Japan.
Objective
Our objective was clear from the outset, to provide pets with quality food made from natural ingredients and as similar as possible, from a nutritional point of view, to the food their ancestors would have eaten in a natural or semi-natural state. To achieve this objective and not to fall into marketing traps, we had to design and develop our own manufacturing system with which to produce this food.
Proces
Our manufacturing system was developed to be able to reliably process foods containing high levels of animal protein and fat and low levels of carbohydrates, and that, at the same time, guarantee a finished product that is highly digestible and contains easily assimilated nutrients.
Tecnology
To achieve this process we used cutting-edge technology, which in our particular process affords a quality product, reliability and versatility.
Confidence
In all our recipes Dingo Natura use only natural ingredients from guaranteed sources and of a quality we can rely on. Our raw materials undergo analysis and testing by an independent laboratory before they are declared suitable for use. Only once their compliance with our quality, digestibility, nutritional, flavour and odour requirements has been verified are they accepted as raw materials in our manufacturing process.
